Oyster Stew Band is a group of Bay Area, California musicians brought together by a common love for pickin' and singing - bluegrass, old-time, light country,
and original songs. The band and individual members of the band have performed at many San Francisco and East Bay venues including the Freight and Salvage,
Starry Plough, Amnesia in the Mission District, Noe Valley, Cafe International, 34th Annual San Francisco Free Folk Festival, 11th Annual San Francisco Bluegrass
and Old-Time Festival and Heartbreak Hootenanny. The Oysters have also performed community events including Frisbee Street and Oakland Community Housing.
They shine in the depth of their instrumentation and vocals -- rousing solos on mandolin, dobro and guitar, that will be sure to get you tapping your feet.
The Oysters are known for delivering strong harmony combinations including intricate duets and trios, and engaging three and four part harmony variations.
Come and enjoy the riveting energy and sound of Oyster Stew Band. One minute you will be wiping away a tear and the next minute laughing out loud. See y'all there!
